Building Biblical Traits at Basic Training.
Updated: May 7, 2023
One of my favorite Bible scriptures is "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes," Ephesians 6:10-18. Basic training can be very challenging for recruits and family members, filled with doubts and fears.
As a former recruit and son of a United Methodist minister, I knew God was with me during my 12 weeks at recruit training - however, there were times of discouragement and thoughts of, "did I make the right decision." If not for the support of my family and friends I may not have made it to graduation.
The Bible is full of men and women who faced similar challenges as God called upon them to lead as strong Christian leaders. Our Biblical Leadership Devotional cards describe the attributes that eight Bible figures maintained as they grew, both physically and mentally. These traits will build your loved one's faith in recruit training and throughout their military career & beyond.
Our collection of Biblical leaders includes Moses, Joseph, Peter, Caleb, Esther, Rahab, Noah, and Jesus. Each card has a unique description of leadership traits that can be implemented at recruit training and shared with others.
How it works:
Order your recruit a set of Biblical Leadership Cards
BLCs are delivered each Monday to recruits*
Cards are sent in a sealed envelope with your return address
Submit a new address if your recruit graduates prior to receiving all of the cards
*allow for 3-4 day delivery if sending to a non-recruit address
