Here are a few best practices:
You can include photos, news clippings, and extra stamps
Unless told differently from your recruit, don't send food or hygiene items.
Recruits are permitted to receive as many letters as you can send.
Keep sending them even if your recruit tells you they are not receiving them. Sometimes the mail can be slow processing through the base mail room.
Share your recruit's address with friends and family (How to share) + give them a free credit to send a postcard.
NOTE: Please note that addresses might differ on MondayDelivery.com since we specialize in direct USPS Priority deliveries to mail rooms. When sending handwritten letters to your recruit, always adhere to the address provided by your recruit, plebe, or candiate.

Generally, during recruit training, care packages are not permitted. However, recruits, plebes, and officer candidates can receive specific hygiene and medical items, which should only be sent in response to their requests. Apart from these exceptions, it's advisable to primarily send letters and postcards.
